michael lamotte’s imagery used to re-brand upscale burger restaurant

Michael Lamotte was hired by Jennifer Jerde at Elixir Design to help with the imagery for the re-branding of what was previously Taylor’s Refresher. The upscale burger restaurant, based in St. Helena, CA and with outposts in Napa and San Francisco’s Ferry Building has recently undergone a name change to Gott’s Roadside. Michael created a modular system for them by shooting various menu items individually and the tray empty so they could change the contents of the tray as needed for different applications. His post production company, Greenbox Imaging applied a treatment to give the images an old-time menu feel.

portolio shows

We love showing the portfolios! Hands down, it is the most fun part of what we do. And it is extra special when the guys whose names are on the door pop in for a visit. Here are – Mike Shine viewing Jim Salzano’s portfolio and David Kennedy viewing Matthew Turley’s portfolio.

michael lamotte shoots mouth-watering video

Michael Lamotte seamlessly segues into video. Take a look at his Lemoncello Cheesecake video, dubbed “very sensual and appetizing” and “food porn” by followers of acclaimed pastry chef David Lebovitz, who posted it on his blog. Beautiful food styling by Stephanie Greenleigh.
