matthew turley spends 2 months shooting in europe

Matthew Turley recently spent over two months in Europe shooting stock and personal work. Making his way via planes, trains, and automobiles (along with countless ferries, tunnels, trams and trails), he covered nearly 5,000 miles in Norway alone before heading south and railing through central and eastern Europe – all the while looking for the most quiet and out-of-the-way places he could find.

portfolio shows

Showing the portfolio is one of the most enjoyable things we do. I hope real portfolios and one-on-one interactions are not completely replaced by websites and online marketing. Here are a few photos snapped at portfolio shows over the past year…Crispin Porter Bogusky in Boulder, TBWA/Chiat in LA, Butler Shine & Stern in San Francisco, Y&R in Irvine and my favorite meeting this year; showing the books to David Kennedy (among others) at Wieden & Kennedy in Portland.
